The purpose of an evaluation is for you to revisit the pre-production, Production and post-production stages of the assignment. Through doing this you will be able to decide if you have achieved the outcome that you had originally planned.
The important aspect of this evaluation is not that everything went to plan and you are happy with that outcome, although this is still important. What we also need to see is that you have carefully considered each aspect of the assignment and taken from that assignment any lessons or do’s and don’ts that can be transferred on to the next assignment. It is only through such a process that you can really gauge how far and how much you have taken from the course.
1. What do you feel is the most important area of learning that you have taken from this assignment? Look at all the production stages and ask your self which areas of this assignment have given you a new way of thinking or approaching you future projects. (50 Words)
The most important part is team work. We split all the work up between us. Each of us has worked hard in the group to get all the parts of the project done on time. I think I will not use a prop as a main character in my next project because we had a lot of trouble with trying to make it move without seeing us in the shot.
2. From your finished project what parts are you most happy with? With the same level of consideration what areas do you feel you need to improve on? (50 Words)
I am most happy with the music that we choose I think it go with the rest on the film really well. I think it makes sense as a horror trailer because you know that chucky is going to try and kill Andy and probably going to fail and it almost how I wanted it to look.
3. How well do you think you and your group worked in achieving all the goals that were set by the assignment brief? (50 Words)
There were some disagreements in terms of everyone trying to own view across which meant we had to comprise, however overall working as a team was good because we helped each other out with planning and directing and we enjoyed making it.
4. What would you change or do differently in the next production? (50 Words)
I think next time I will not use a prop as the main charter because it was hard to make it move with out seen someone hand in the shot. Another thing I would differently next time is not to use the college because the college environment was very stayed.
5. How does your trailer fit with the look and style of a real example that you looked at in research, think about how your trailer looks and how it is edited (50 Words)
I think if we had one more week and add some more scenes in to it we could pass it of as the official trailer for the film. I think the music goes well with it and I think we done a good job in the time we had.

My contribution to post production
I done most of the coping down of the scene and putting the scene in to places I found this easy because I have done some editing a home. The areas of postproduction that I would improve on are ogonising the time for everything that needed to be done in the week e.g. edit the scenes over a two lesson and spend one lesson on music and another lesson on credits. The areas that I would change on the film would be to add a extra shot of Stuart running down the stairs because we where told to do a chases scene and maybe use some different music because I don’t think the music we used went well with the scene. I think my groups did well for are first time, we had a bit of a chaecs scene and that what we where ask to do. We had some bit in pre- production and production that we had to do again lucky it didn’t take too long to do so we finished it on time.
My evaluating my contribution to, Production
My contribution to the production. Acting I played the guy in the life who rob gave the psp to and then gave it back to him later. I directed most of the film the start of the film with rob tacking the psp from Stuart and Stuart run down the stairs try to beat rob in the lift. When I was I the in the scene, we playback back what we just done so I could see if we need to do it again. I have done the shots on the fourth floor and stairs. I brought my psp in from home to use for the film. I think we could of use more shots of Stuart run down the Stairs. We had to come after the lesson to do some more filming but I think it went ok, I think my roles where ok, the directing and filming part where the best bit I done during production, I do not enjoy acting because I find it had to do.
